Règle n° 1
General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter the "GTC")
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter the "GTC") of games, consoles, accessories, guides, derivative products, DLC/subscriptions, and other digital content or services (hereinafter the "Product(s)"), entered into between, on the one hand, any adult consumer customer who is , including Corsica (hereinafter the "Customer(s)"), and the company Maurel David (hereinafter "MAUREL DAVID"), on the website https://carrefourdusex.fr (hereinafter the "Site").
The GTC, as well as all information relating to the Products mentioned on the Site, are written in French. These GTC apply to the , particularly those applicable to in-store sales. The GTC, together with the online order confirmation, constitute the , to the exclusion of any other documents, brochures, catalogs, or photographs of the Products, which are for indicative purposes only.
The GTC are made available to the Customer on the Site, where they can be directly consulted. They are binding on the Customer, who acknowledges, by checking the box provided for this purpose, having read and accepted them before placing an order. The validation of the order by its confirmation constitutes the Customer's acceptance of the GTC in force on the day of the order, the preservation and reproduction of which are ensured by MAUREL DAVID.

Règle n° 2
2.1 – The Product offers available on the Site are governed by these terms and conditions and remain valid as long as they are displayed online. Customers are invited to check the availability of Products on each Product’s information page. Products are offered and delivered subject to stock availability. In the event that an ordered Product is unavailable, Carrefour du sex will immediately inform the Customer and may offer an alternative product of equivalent quality and price. If the Customer declines, MAUREL DAVID will refund the amounts paid within fourteen (14) days. Apart from the refund of the price of the unavailable Product, MAUREL DAVID is not liable for any cancellation compensation.
2.2 – The Products offered for sale comply with current French legislation.
2.3 – Each Product offered for sale on the Site is accompanied by a description listing its essential characteristics as defined by the Consumer Code. Products are described with the greatest possible accuracy. The photos, texts, and drawings associated with the Products, which are provided and sometimes modified without notice by the suppliers from whom they are sourced, are for indicative purposes only. MAUREL DAVID will make every effort to ensure that these elements are as faithful as possible to the Products delivered or provided to Customers. However, despite MAUREL DAVID’s vigilance, there may be minor differences between these elements and the final Product delivered to the Customer

3.1 – Orders
Before finalizing their order, the Customer has clear and understandable access to:
- Information regarding the essential characteristics of the ordered Products and their prices;
- The order details;
- The terms, timeframe, and conditions for exercising the right of withdrawal as mentioned in Article 6 of the General Terms and Conditions (GTC), as well as the standard withdrawal form provided in ANNEX 1 of the GTC;
- The conditions surrounding the return shipping costs of the Products in the event the right of withdrawal is exercised.
3.2 – Order Process
Product Selection: The Customer selects the Product(s) they wish to order;
Verification of Selection: The Customer reviews the contents of their cart, with the option to remove any selected Product(s);
Identification: The Customer completes the identification form provided and enters the required information (mandatory fields: first name, last name, email, address, phone number, password). By validating the creation of their account, the Customer acknowledges and accepts the GTC and chooses whether or not to receive email alerts (to be informed by email about Product availability or news of interest to the Customer), newsletters, and information from MAUREL DAVID. The Customer may unsubscribe from this service at any time via their customer account.
Order Verification: The Customer reviews the contents of their order, the total price, the delivery and billing addresses, with the option to remove a Product or modify the billing and delivery addresses;
Delivery Options: The Customer may choose between:
- Delivery via So Colissimo, Chronopost, or France Express to the address they provided or to a partner retailer of MAUREL DAVID selected from the list available on the Website,
- Pickup of the Products at a MAUREL DAVID store of their choice. Before making their choice, the Customer is informed of the delivery fees associated with these options. The Customer validates the delivery method by selecting the desired option and clicking the "Validate Cart" button. The Customer then confirms their delivery choice on the next page by clicking the "Continue" button.
Payment Method: The Customer selects their payment method according to the terms defined in Article 4 of the GTC.
Order Confirmation: After reviewing the GTC, the Customer confirms their order by clicking the "Order and Pay" button.
Payment: The Customer proceeds with payment for their order using their chosen payment method.
Order Confirmation Email: The Customer receives an email summarizing their order, including:
- The order number;
- The bank transaction number;
- The list and price of the ordered Products;
- The delivery method and its cost.
This document serves as the official proof of the order and must be retained by the Customer, particularly to exercise their right of withdrawal when applicable. The Customer has access to all legal information, which is contained in the following two documents:
- The email summarizing the order, which the Customer can print at any time;
- The GTC applicable at the time of the order, which will be attached to the order confirmation email.
Order Processing: MAUREL DAVID commits to fulfilling the order registered on the Website and validated by PayPal (transaction analysis system). If a Product is not immediately available, MAUREL DAVID will inform the Customer as soon as possible by email or phone. MAUREL DAVID reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order from a Customer with whom there is an outstanding payment dispute for a previous order. MAUREL DAVID is a retailer and does not sell Products in bulk. Therefore, any request from a Customer that appears abnormal or made in bad faith may be refused by MAUREL DAVID. In the event of order cancellation, the Customer will be refunded within a maximum of fourteen (14) days from their refund request, in accordance with the provisions of Article 6 of the GTC.
The Customer will receive an email confirming the shipment of their order. The contract is deemed concluded on the date this email is sent.
Product Pre-Order
In certain cases, the Customer may pre-order a Product on the Website that is not yet available for sale to reserve it for its official release date. The Product will then be delivered to the Customer, according to their chosen method, under the conditions set out in Article 5 of the GTC. If, in exceptional circumstances, the pre-order cannot be fulfilled by MAUREL DAVID, the Customer will be fully refunded the amount paid, via bank transfer and without additional fees. The stock arrival date provided by the publisher of a Product is indicative only, and MAUREL DAVID cannot be held liable for any delay compared to the initially communicated date.
